Weight 124 lbs, Fillies, 121 lbs. Non-winners of $50,000 allowed, 2 lbs.; $30,000 other than auction race or claiming 4 lbs. High weights pr eferred. Preference of horses with equal weights will be determined by earnings. (Earnings in claiming & starter races of $50,000 or less not considered). Participation purse earnings do not apply to preferences. A trophy will be presented to the winni ng owner. (Rail at 18 feet).

OBSERVED got put in tight and steadied early, angled to the rail and laid off the pace, got shuffled back to last entering the backstretch, entered the far turn between rivals, eased over to the three path around the bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, closed in alongside SHADOW NATION (IRE), reeled in the leader late to take over and edged SHADOW NATION (IRE) for the score. SHADOW NATION (IRE) altered a bit behind rivals early, settled on the inside at the back, moved into the two path and raced between rivals around the clubhouse turn, picked up stride two then three wide on the second bend, rallied through the lane inside OBSERVED, reeled in the leader late but got outkicked by OBSERVED in the end. OFF IN THE CORNER was closest in pursuit from the two path around the clubhouse turn, headed the leader at the half-mile pole, took over dueling around the far turn, disposed of inner rival late on the bend, kicked away in upper stretch, carried a comfortable lead into the final sixteenth but got run down by the top pair. HOAXER trailed two then three wide around the clubhouse turn, remained three deep to the far turn, chased four deep at the quarter pole, moved out widest in upper stretch, produced a mild rally and earned a minor award. GOLDEN SENTRY threw his head at the start but still came away with the field, settled inside, tipped two wide past the five-sixteenths pole, came back to the rail approaching the stretch, moved off the fence in the lane and could not rally. ITINERARY stepped to the front and showed the way along the rail, headed by OFF IN THE CORNER at the half-mile pole, lost command past the five-sixteenths pole, yielded to the new leader late on the bend and weakened down the lane. MISSED FORTUNE followed in range outside a rival, chased in the two path through the far turn and faded in the stretch. COSMIC CHARLIE stalked the pace from inside, started to weaken around the far turn under urging, trailed into the stretch and had little left for the drive.
