Footnotes
DASH settled inside, drew closer in the middle stages, went two wide into the far turn, got bumped from inside at the five-sixteenths pole, bid three wide leaving the bend, took over at the eighth pole and drove clear. DOMAIN EXPANSION was off slow to begin, taken to the inside, closed in on the backstretch, altered to the two path and bumped a rival at the five-sixteenths pole, finished well through the lane and got up for second. D'YQUEM vied between rivals into the first turn then ceded command around the bend, was closest in pursuit of the lone leader up the backstretch, bid two wide at the five-sixteenths pole, took over shortly after, lost command at the eighth pole and got run down for second late. GRADUATION DAY broke a step slow, sat well off the pace outside a rival, tipped out into the stretch, angled back inside and summoned a mild rally to round out the superfecta. STARFINDER raced in mid-pack early on the inside, lacked room at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped two wide near the quarter pole and flattened out in the late stages. FOREWARN traveled outside STARFINDER in mid-pack, coaxed along leaving the backstretch, got boxed in from the three-eighths pole to the five-sixteenths marker, angled out into the clear, came four wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. BLUE SKY RAIN threw her head and came away slow, raced near the back in the early going, advanced from inside, tipped two wide into the stretch and failed to summon the needed rally. CANDY COLE vied for the lead from inside then cleared around the clubhouse turn, challenged at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded to the new leader at the quarter pole and tired. MYSWEETVALENTINE was off slow to start, trailed on the inside, passed a rival while two wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. MIYAKO PAUMA vied three deep into the first turn then dropped back out of range, lost ground three, four, then five wide around the far turn, trailed into the stretch and tired.
