GIMME A NOTHER (SAF) prominent early outside the leader leaving the chute then took a stalking position on the inside, fell out of range then drew closer into the backstretch, tipped to the two path at the quarter pole, challenged between rivals entering the lane, took a short lead over MEDORO at the top of the lane, edged clear from that rival entering deep stretch and was kept busy late. MEDORO tracked two wide entering the stretch for the first time, moved inside for the clubhouse turn, was on the move steered off the fence on the far turn, bid three deep turning for home, fought outside GIMME A NOTHER (SAF) into the final furlong, could not keep in deep stretch and stayed on for a clear second. MISSION OF JOY sat off the pace on the inside, moved into rage while continuing to save ground around the far turn, tipped out in upper stretch and gained third. PUBLIC ASSEMBLY allowed to settle along the inside in the early going, closed in while angling to the three path on the far turn, flattened in the final furlong and lost third. HANG THE MOON raced outside a rival leaving the chute, moved inside racing towards the back, swung out into the lane and improved position. MAHINA coaxed from the gate, trailed on the inside to the stretch and passed tired rivals. BALTIC FIRE tracked three deep then moved into the two path, asked while steering to the four path on the far turn, went three wide into the lane and faded. HOPEFUL (GB) stepped to the front and moved inside, opened up keenly in hand on the first turn, took a bigger hold into the backstretch and saw the lead diminish, continued unchallenged to the far turn, confronted by a pair of rivals leaving the bend, offered little resistance and relinquished the lead quickly, then retreated through the lane. KENTUCKY GAL (IRE) tracked three deep then outside a rival, drew closer into the backstretch, lost positions between rivals late on the far turn and tired in the stretch.
