MUSCLED pulled the rider along first time through the stretch, clubhouse turn and backstretch, moved forward between rivals, driven three wide into the lane, angled out in upper stretch and surged clear. MAXIMON traveled three then two wide from well off the pace, asked two wide on the far turn, swung wide for the stretch, finished well through the lane and got up for second. ROSTOVSKY sat off the pace on the inside, drew closer on the backstretch, shifted two wide into the lane, angled out in the stretch, rallied between rivals but got outkicked by the top pair. DREAMRIDER tucked inside at the back, trailed two wide on the far turn, swung widest into the stretch, produced a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. BACK NINE STAKES set the pace under pressure on the inside, dueled around the far turn, resisted to midstretch, then yielded to the winner and weakened late. MOONLIT SONATA sat off the pace on the inside, moved into range three deep in the middle stages, chased three then four wide on the far turn, angled out in the lane and lacked a rally. LORENZO BERNINI tracked from inside out of range of the leaders, moved up quickly between runners but had to pause behind the leaders at the half-mile pole, stalked in the two path around the far turn, roused in upper stretch but failed to produce a bid. OTTIS BETTS forwardly placed in the three path early, bid outside the top pair at the half-mile pole, fought in the four path turning for home, could not keep up with the leaders into the final furlong and flattened out. NO POKING AROUND stalked the pace from inside, hugged the rail to the stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. GREY'S BOY pressed the pace from outside, vied between rivals at the half-mile pole, dueled around the far turn and weakened down the lane. GAIRLOCH allowed to settle from the far outside, took the first turn two then three wide, crept closer three deep on the backstretch, rounded the far turn three then four wide and never responded down the stretch. AGROWEST was rank while dropping back early, saved through the turns and was never a factor.
