BLOCKADE raced keenly while prominent early on the inside, followed behind the leader to the far turn, challenged from outside past the five-sixteenths marker, put a head in front with a quarter mile remaining, dueled in the three path turning for home, got floated by inner rival, resisted to midstretch, yielded to the winner in the last sixteenth and held second. OGLE broke inward, traveled on the inside towards the rear, made progress through the far turn, stayed on the fence in the drive, lacked the needed late kick in deep stretch but was able to gain third. VENDETTA traveled in mid-pack on the inside, closed in under a ride in the two path on the far turn and flattened out in the lane. RIVER IN PARADISE (GB) was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside, passed a rival at the quarter pole and picked off a few more tired runners in the lane. DEE SNOOK (IRE) took a bump leaving the gate, angled to the inside, traveled outside a rival on the backstretch, asked two to three wide on the far turn and failed to menace. QUEENOFTHEWILD (IRE) pulled early and had to alter out from behind one of the leaders prior to the first turn, continued to tug the rider along on the clubhouse turn, tipped three wide at the five-sixteenths pole, came four wide into the stretch, tired and eased in the lane and walked off. CONFETTI RAIN pressed from outside then dueled up the backstretch, failed to keep up with the leader early on the far turn, checked between rivals approaching the quarter pole, eased in the lane and walked off.
