Footnotes
RASTAMAN VIBE raced in range from the two path, loomed three wide turning for home, bid three deep at the top of the lane, took the lead past the eighth pole, drew clear in deep stretch and held over REIQUIST late. REIQUIST tracked from inside, waited in the two path between rivals on the final turn, roused into the lane, angled out in the stretch, came with a late bid but ran out of ground. NIGHT OUT settled in the two path, raced keenly in hand first time in the stretch, chased between up the backstretch, urged two, three, then four wide on the final bend, tipped out further at the top of the stretch, closed well and got up for third. DICEY MO CHARA (GB) grabbed the early lead and moved inside, controlled the pace to the far turn, came under threat around the bend, resisted to the eighth pole, relinquished the lead shortly after, yielded to the top trio but kept trying to the wire. CRAZY CAVALIER got bumped on both sides in the beginning, angled over to the inside and allowed to settle off the pace, saved ground before tipping two wide into the stretch and came with a late run but could not earn a major awards. BALDORO was closest in pursuit from the two path, drew alongside the leader on the final turn, fought to midstretch and flattened out. CAISSON steadied behind a rival approaching the first turn, traveled three then two wide at the back around that bend, pulled first time in the stretch, moved inside for the clubhouse turn, started pulling again while moving off the rail on the backstretch, chased between or two to three wide on the far turn, angled out in the drive and failed to threaten. BACKDOOR ROYALTY stalked the speed from the rail position, coaxed along continued to save ground on the third turn, hugged the rail into the lane, asked right-handed and weakened in the furlong grounds. SBAGLIATO reserved outside a rival in the opening stages, pulled badly on the backstretch and steadied at the three-eighths pole, saved ground on the fence around the final turn and failed to menace. RIMPROTECTOR bumped leaving the gate, steadied into the first turn, moved inside at the back, passed rivals three, four, then five wide on the far turn and faltered. MAAZ (FR) settled outside a pair of rivals, went four wide into the lane and faltered.
