Footnotes
MODUS BESTIA showed the way up the backstretch, set all the pace to the stretch, responded well to strong handling and was ridden out to the wire. LATITUDE was closest in pursuit from inside into the turn, moved over to the two path around the bend, took aim at the winner into the final furlong but lacked a bid and held second. CHEEVER pursued in range from off the rail, took the turn three wide, kept on down the lane and finished a clear third. KOKOSAN hopped slightly and broke out a bit, chased outside a rival off the pace into the turn, spun three wide into the lane and rounded out the superfecta. SINGLEMORE chased off the rail, two wide then along the rail around the bend and weakened in the drive. RUNNING WITH CHAOS settled off the pace, saved ground around the bend and proved no menace. BENEFICIAL stalked off the rail, took the turn two wide and weakened. AT THE POST was fractious in the gate, raced near the back on the inside and never made an impact. TWELFTH NIGHT was off slow to begin, guided out wide and moved into range, dropped back five then four wide on the turn, eased in the lane and walked off. QUALITY GOLD was off slow and lost his path at the start, trailed to the stretch, eased in the lane and walked off.
