Footnotes
MO BRADLEY was fractious in the gate, raced keenly in hand at the back prior to the first turn, crept closer along the inside in the middle stages, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, closed in to range midstretch and overhauled the runner-up. FAWCETT settled three wide then tucked inside on the first turn, followed in range from the two path with three furlongs remaining, drew closer while easing over to the three path, bid outside the top pair turning for home, took over with a furlong remaining, cleared midstretch and got run down by the winner late. DOING TIME trailed outside a rival, drew closer in the middle stages, continued to make progress then lacked room behind a rival and checked past the quarter pole, finished willingly through the lane and got up for third. GOING NOWHERE tracked from inside then shifted to the two path quickly on the clubhouse turn, challenged three deep leaving the backstretch, put a head in front at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole and weakened. FAIR QUESTION dueled from outside then cleared inner rival and crossed to the rail into the clubhouse turn, showed the way around the bend with a pair of rivals to the outside, vied along the rail into the far turn, lost command at the quarter pole, fought to the eighth pole and weakened. ROYAL RUMOR pressed three deep around the first turn, dropped back a bit to stalk outside another pair, went four deep into the far turn, moved in a path then came out and traveled five wide turning for home and weakened in the drive. THROWTHEFIRSTPUNCH pressed the leader from outside, vied between runners leaving the backstretch, could not match strides with the top pair late on the bend and tired in the stretch. OM GROWN TOMATOES dueled from inside then pulled in hand and steadied along the fence nearing the clubhouse turn, stalked up the backstretch, came under a ride still on the fence around the far turn, got put in tight and steadied late on the bend and faded.
