SUNNY CREED stalked the lone leader from the fence, launched a bid at the three-eighths pole, put a head in front midway around the bend, cleared with a quarter mile remaining, drew off under a drive and was in hand late. HARD HEARTED raced up close five, four, then three deep around the clubhouse turn, remained outside rivals up the backstretch, chased three but mainly four wide on the second bend, was no match for the winner in the lane but was able to edge DEBBY'S GAL for second. DEBBY'S GAL broke a step slow, chased in a bit tight between rivals three deep into the turn, moved into the two path around the bend, put in a brief bid three deep on the far turn but failed to keep up with the new leader past the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into the stretch and got outkicked for second. HOWMANYMORETIMES showed the way in the two path into the first turn then found the rail, controlled the pace up the backstretch, shifted back to the two path early on the far turn, challenged by SUNNY CREED shortly after from inside, lost command at the five-sixteenths pole, could not stay on with the winner nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. LA CANTINA ROSSA tracked between rivals in the two path then dropped off the pace, trailed outside a rival to the stretch and never responded to urging. PRINCESS BREANNA chased four deep then dropped back and tucked inside around the first turn, trailed with LA CANTINA ROSSA up the backstretch, saved ground to the stretch and had little left for the drive.
