GUN RUNNER CHARLIE broke out and bumped, dueled from inside around the first turn, fought with a pair of rivals up the backstretch, carried a short lead into the far turn, kicked clear from SCATIFY approaching the stretch, then drew off under a tap of right handed urging and was ridden out under steady handling in the late stages. SCATIFY pressed three deep around the clubhouse turn, moved up on even terms on the backstretch, kept the pressure on GUN RUNNER CHARLIE around the far turn, failed to keep late on the bend and finished a clear second. SPUN NOT STIRRED trailed three wide around early, stayed off the rail to the second bend, passed a pair of rivals in the four path, kept on down the lane and gained third. KEITHING THUNDER broke in and bumped, stalked in the two path to the far turn, moved over to the three path quickly on the bend, fell out of striking distance in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. OUR CONSIGLIERE got bumped on both sides at the start, took a stalking position on the inside, saved ground to the stretch and tired. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE got bumped between rivals leaving the gate, went up to challenge for command from outside, fought between rivals in the middle stages, faded on the far turn and had little left for the drive.
