LADY K WESTFALL showed the way early with VICTORIA'S JEWEL alongside, dueled around the bend, battled into the final furlong, inched ahead at the sixteenth pole and just held over a late run from SOUTHERN ANTON at the wire. SOUTHERN ANTON brushed leaving the gate, settled off the rail in mid-pack, gained two wide then along the fence around the bend, angled out under left-handed urging in the lane, surged late and just missed. VICTORIA'S JEWEL pressed from outside, dueled around the bend and into the lane, dug in to midstretch, then weakened a bit in the last sixteenth. PRISCILLA raced up close on the inside, exited the bend in the two path, moved out in the drive and weakened. GO PRANCEALOT raced near the back of the field in the early going, went three wide into the turn then quickly moved into the two path, tipped out in upper stretch and improved position. SHE'S BACK broke out and made light contact with a rival, coaxed along from off the rail in range then outside a pair of rivals, started to weaken three then four wide on the turn and could not rally in the drive. SMOKIN HOT CHICK bumped and bobbled leaving the gate, trailed early, angled to the rail for the turn, steered back out at the top of the lane and passed tired rivals. BIG COIN showed early speed then had to check approaching the half-mile pole, chased two to three wide on the turn and weakened down the lane. TRAIN STATION climbed a bit along the inside early, had a lot of work left to do around the bend while remaining next to the fence and could not threaten in the lane. STARSHIP PACIFIC was off slow to begin, chased from off the pace two wide into the turn, angled out and came four wide into the lane and had little left for the drive.
