Footnotes
BLAME ASHLEY chased three deep early, drew closer two to three wide on the turn, bid three deep at the top of the lane, kicked clear midstretch and was kept busy to the line. DELUGE chased two wide early then moved inside leaving the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, bid between runners in upper stretch, lacked the needed late punch to overtake the winner but was able to secure second. AVALON ROSE settled off the pace, moved inside for the turn, steadied a bit past the five-sixteenths pole, shifted to the two path past the quarter pole, angled out in the lane and finished well. FALLING CREEK bumped leaving the gate, trailed in the early going, angled from the two path to the four path around the bend, moved out in the lane and produced a mild rally to earn a minor award. STARFINDER chased from off the pace on the inside, got put in tight and steadied near the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground to the stretch and summoned a mild rally. MISS MIDTERM bumped with FALLING CREEK at the dispatch, settled outside a rival, rounded the bend three then two wide, moved out in the lane and lacked the needed response. STORMY SUNSET dueled from outside, came under a ride on the turn, lost command at the eighth pole and weakened. SENTIENT SOON dueled from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, vied with outer pair in upper stretch, then weakened in the furlong grounds. IT'STHETWENTYTHIRD raced in mid-pack three wide early, lost ground into the turn, got put in a bit tight between runners early on the bend, chased three wide into the stretch and failed to menace. DARLING JULIA broke well then gave chase from inside, dropped back on the turn and tired.
