HEY DEMPS was rank in the early going on the inside, trailed up the backstretch, was on the move two wide on the far turn, swung out approaching the stretch, rallied four deep into the last sixteenth and dug in to edge the inner trio at the wire. SHE'S A JOKER settled in the two path outside a rival, gained on the far turn while angling to the rail, steered back out and came three wide into the stretch, rallied between rivals, led briefly late but was edged by the winner. LADY MENDELSSOHN dueled briefly from outside then cleared and moved inside on the first turn, showed the way up the backstretch, met a pair of bids at the three-eighths pole, lost command in upper stretch, fought back through the final furlong and finished a game third. DORIE MILLER tracked three then two wide on the clubhouse turn, bid three deep with three furlongs left to run, inched ahead in upper stretch, carried a short lead between rivals into the last sixteenth, fought gamely to the wire but was outkicked by the top trio. QUANTUM INNERGY tracked two wide into the first turn, lost her path and had to take up early on the bend, gained three deep in the middle stages, chased four wide on the far turn and flattened down the lane. MENDELSSOHNS ANGEL stalked from inside, shifted out to bother QUANTUM INNERGY early on the clubhouse turn, moved back to the rail, got shuffled to last briefly early on the second turn, tipped out and passed a rival around the bend and could not make an impact in the stretch. SHAMROCKIN stalked in the two path, bid between runners at the three-eighths pole, fought to upper stretch and faltered in the furlong grounds. PERFECT LIFE reared up in the gate, stalked from inside, coaxed along into the far turn, dropped back on that turn and tired.
