MAN O ROSE dueled outside DROP UM early then fought three deep past the half-mile pole, cleared inner rivals around the bend, drew away in upper stretch, then held safely under urging to the wire. DROP UM dueled inside MAN O ROSE then vied between rivals up the backstretch, could not kick on with MAN O ROSE with a quarter mile remaining, stayed on well through the lane to hold second and closed the gap on the winner late. SHEA BRENNAN unhurried in the beginning, followed from off the rail then moved inside for the turn, chased between rivals at the quarter pole, spun three wide into the lane and finished willingly to earn the show honors. CLOVISCONNECTION stalked the top pair then moved up to challenge from inside at the half-mile pole, yielded to outer rivals at the five-sixteenths marker, kept trying down the lane near the fence and earned a minor award. STAMP MY PASSPORT raced up close from outside, chased three deep at the three-eighths pole, exited the bend in the four path and failed to produce a bid. STYLE CAT tracked four wide into the turn, came five wide into the stretch and weakened. R HEISMAN stalked the leaders from off the rail, dropped back on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
