THEBESTISYETTOBE (IRE) settled near the back along the inside then moved to the two path, continued two wide on the second turn, went three deep into the final bend, altered in then back out from behind STARTS now at the quarter pole, went three wide into the stretch, moved out, rallied three deep into the last sixteenth and drove clear. RESOLVE stalked the top pair outside a rival, rushed up to take over from outside at the half-mile pole, cleared inner rivals and angled to the inside for the final turn, met the challenge from IMA JOKER late on the bend, resisted to the sixteenth pole but yielded to the winner late. IMA JOKER stalked the leaders from the fence, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, drew alongside RESOLVE shortly after, fought to the sixteenth pole and could not summon the needed late kick. LITTLE HIDDEN PORT (ARG) settled inside, moved into range then lost ground on the backstretch, chased within striking distance turning for home, finished willingly but could not get by IMA JOKER for third. STARTS NOW reserved in the early going three then two wide, rounded the clubhouse turn in the two path, drew closer three deep on the backstretch, chased two wide into the lane, came out under left handed encouragement in upper stretch and flattened out. SWEET DELTA DAWN trailed two to three wide on the first turn, continued in the three path outside a rival on the second bend, ridden along into the final furlong, stayed off the rail to the stretch and was never a factor. SHY ANN pressed the pace from outside to the half-mile pole, lost positions approaching the final furlong, dropped back around that bend and had little left for the stretch run. ANGELIC APPEAL (IRE) took control early and showed the way under pressure from SHY ANN to the outside, overtaken at the half-mile pole, dropped back between rivals then along the rail on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
