Footnotes
JUST ALOOF was closest in pursuit of the leader from the two path, drew alongside BOURBON AND GINGER at the quarter pole, put that rival away in upper stretch and was kept busy to remain clear to the wire. LATTE LUV stalked the lone leader from inside, crept closer in the middle stages, waited behind BOURBON GINGER around the far turn, shifted to a clear path at the top of the stretch, finished determinedly but could not reach JUST ALOOF while securing second. LA VILLE LUMIERE sat off the pace on the inside, was ridden along through the far turn, entered the lane in the two path, chased between rivals in the final furlong and got up for third. YOURS SINCERELY (IRE) traveled in the two path from mid-pack early, moved into range between rivals on the backstretch, continued in the two path on the far turn, moved out in the lane chasing within striking distance but could not summon the needed late kick. WILD LIKE THE WEST pulled the rider early and steered to the two path, raced outside a rival towards the rear, rounded the far turn two then three wide, asked left handed at the top of the lane and steered to the outside, produced a mild rally but needed to find more. HYPERGAMY went three deep around the first turn while out of range of the pacesetter, traveled outside a rival in the middle stages, drew closer while angling four wide around the far turn and failed to threaten in the late stages. SPECIAL WOOD (FR) settled along the rail, drew closer on the backstretch, hugged the rail around the far turn, roused in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. CEE DREW angled to the inside racing near the back, trailed next to the fence inside a runner into the lane and passed tired rivals. SWEET LITTLE LILA (IRE) steered to the inside trailing the field, traveled outside a rival on the far turn, swung out into the lane and was never a factor. UMBRALLE tracked from the three path, asked right handed past the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. BOURBON AND GINGER controlled the pace on the inside, pressured by the winner at the quarter pole, yielded in upper stretch and folded.
