Footnotes
VINO COURAGIO tracked from the three to four path, rallied to reel in the tiring leader at the furlong grounds and drove clear. NIP N TUCK stalked from the two to three path, chased between horses into the far turn, progressed along with his outer counterpart nearing the lane, got outkicked by that one in upper stretch, shifted out and kept on to be second best. CHARBON chased along the inside, brushed the fence in upper stretch then stayed on to edge show late. ARMY OFFICER broke outwardly, ran off to open up a large advance into the backstretch, came back to rivals turning for home, got caught by an outer bidder while moving to the three path at the furlong grounds and weakened between horses. LUCKY BOSS trailed throughout in the two path and was eased through the late stages.
