SHOW TIME vied two wide, maintained an advantage as the duel continued through the lane then gamely held when an outer rival challenged nearing the wire. DEFENDING ALBERT tracked along the inside, shifted outside of the top pair entering the lane, took aim from the four to five path into the final furlong, rallied to offer a late bid but missed at the wire. AIR OF DEFIANCE vied for the lead inside of the eventual winner, sustained the battle through the lane but was fended off then lost place late. FREE ADVICE trailed two wide and between horses then improved position. STAR'S IMAGE pursued three wide, swung out to the six path in upper stretch but lacked a rally. INVULNERABLE pressed outside of the embattled leading pair into and around the turn but faded once floated four wide entering the lane.
