BANKSY'S was allowed to settle in mid-pack early, began a sustained forward move at the seven-sixteenths marker, went three wide through the far turn, and continued on in workmanlike fashion to get up in the final yards. TEND TO YOU broke cleanly, tracked the runaway early leader from second position, chased and collared that rival with a sixteenth to go alongside a surging BANKSY'S, but yielded to that latter foe in the final strides. LIMELIGHT was sent aggressively to the lead, went clear of the rest, and was left alone to dictate moderate early fractions, maintained a clear margin through the far turn, continued to lead while under strong handling past the furlong marker, but gave way in that final furlong. DIAMOND EYED JACK settled unhurried in the back half of the field, circled four to five wide on the far turn, closed steadily in the stretch, but ran out of time. LET'S BE FRANK stumbled coming out of the gate, saved ground to the stretch, and was gaining ground in the late stages. MASSACHUSETTS tracked off the pace toward the inside, came under a ride near the three-furlong pole, maintained position while being hard ridden but did not improve. TERRE HAUTE got good forward position three-wide on the first turn, settled in the tracking group down the backstretch, came under a ride early on the far turn, but did not respond, and faded through the field in the stretch. EL TIO settled with the trailing group and was never involved. RAVENOUS lagged at the rear of the field and did not offer a late bid. SLIDE AWAY ducked in after the break and made contact with the temporary inner rail, then trailed the field and failed to rally.
