FITZGERALD tugged in the three path into the backstretch, forged an advantage between rivals at the five furlong pole, built a clear advantage with three furlongs to go then drew off under a drive. GREYSTAR brushed with an inner rival at the start, prompted in the four path into the backstretch, steadied when briefly rank at the eleven sixteenths pole, sustained pressure outside of the eventual winner into the far turn, chased while tucking to the two path at the three furlong pole, proved no match then held place. STAR SAVER brushed an inner rival at the start, tracked from the four path, chased around the far turn, lacked progress and managed show. THE REINBOW FACTOR was brushed by an outer rival leaving the gate, pursued from midpack in the two path, improved two wide around the far turn but failed to reach contention. PROPS broke a beat slow, lacked speed in the two path, shifted from the four to six path turning for home and improved position. PAIRED broke a step slow, raced off of the pace in the three to four path and failed to factor. CARDINAL UNION bobbled a bit at the start, steadied when close up in the two path entering th backstretch, recovered to track near the inside then tired. SNOWDRIFT brushed withan outer rival and bobbled a bit at the start, lagged behind and showed little. WATASHI vied along the inside, then with an outer pair down the backstretch but faltered into the far turn and was eased thereafter.
