Footnotes
STRIPE SHOW laid off of the pace in the four path, progressed around the far turn to bid in upper stretch, led into the final furlong, shifted out at the sixteenth pole, drifted subtly while getting collared by an outer challenger shortly after then held firm. SPECTACULAR SAM lacked speed in the four path into the backstretch, crept closer in the four to five path around the far turn, rallied while hanging on his left lead, shifted out to bid in the final sixteenth but was denied. BLUEGRASS PRINCESS broke a step slow, trailed in the four path, advanced in the five to six path turning for home then willingly sustained her rally. TIMBERTOP set the pace along the inside, shook clear briefly at the quarter pole but got caught by an outer rival at the furlong grounds and faded. RUMBELIEVABLE stalked five to three wide, pursued within striking range around the far turn, but chased at the quarter pole then yielded. GREATEST BLAZE pressed four to two wide and between horses then faded at the three furlong pole. MIDNIGHT ESCAPADE tracked from the three path and between horses then gave way around the far turn. LUXOR MAGIC was reluctant to load, raced close up in the two path, chased along the inside before weakening at the quarter pole and was done early. EZ MISS SASSY pursued from the two path, chased between horses with nine sixteenths to go, moved to the inside into the far turn, but faded behind a rival turning for home then was eased in the final furlong.
