NEVER SLEEP broke sharply, set a clear pace in the two path into the turn, got collared by a pair of outer challengers at the five sixteenths pole, dug in and held firm while sparring with a single outer rival through midstretch then shook free with a sixteenth to go. TRUE ESSENCE saved ground off of the pace then rallied belatedly to reel in place while gaining at the wire. RUPP staled from the three path, bid between horses at the five sixteenths pole, vied outside of the eventual winner into midstretch but was turned away at the sixteenth pole then got nailed for place. T V TIME OUT came in at the start, chased along the inside, gained show while moving out to the four path leaving the furlong rounds but got outkicked by an inner rival late then held fourth. FLIP FLOP FREAK was jostled between horses soon after the start, roused close in the four path approaching the turn, progressed into striking range in the five path at the quarter pole but leveled off then missed fourth. NASHVILLE COWBOY bumped with an outer rival soon after the start, stalked from the four path, bid outside of the top pair at the five sixteenths pole, but was repelled entering the lane then faded between horses. TOLEDO BEND pursued off of the pace in the six path, tucked down to the five to three path around the turn then failed to factor. TRIXIE BARRY was bumped between horses after the start, raced at the rear in the four path and failed to factor. KNICKS WARRIOR bumped with an inner rival soon after the start, raced off of the pace in the five path, tucked to the two path around the turn and tired. BATTLE STAR broke a step slow and got floated inwardly by an outer rival at the start, saved ground at the rear and got outrun.
