PLAYA DEL MAR tracked four wide into the backstretch, pursued within striking range around teh far turn, rallied to sustain his bid in the final furlong and drove past late. MATINEE IDOL bumped an inner foe at the start, pressed four to three wide into the backstretch, bid into the far turn, gained an advantage turning for home, kicked clear entering the lane but was worn down by an outer challenger in the late stages. MONEY MAN was bumped by an outer rival and put in tight between horses at the start, lacked speed in the three path into the backstretch, advanced between horses turning for home, shifted out to the five path into upper stretch and ran on willingly. UP COUNTRY prompted between rivals before stalking from the two path into the backstretch, chased the top pair three wide into the lane, edged show but got outkicked by an outer rival in the final furlong. GLOBAL QUOTE laid off of the pace along the inside, then in the four path around the far turn, improved between horses before moving out to the six path into upper stretch and moved up. TAP ME A SONG brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, set a pressured pace along the inside, vied with an outer pair of bidders into the far turn, got headed at the five sixteenths pole and gave way. BISOU transferred contact from an outer rival to an inner foe at the start, lagged behind in the two path, then improved between horses. MR. BABBS chased from midpack tucking three wide, pursued under urging in the four to five path around the far turn and tired. MISTER BANDERAS prompted two wide and between horses, vied around the far turn, but was no match for his outer counterpart entering the lane and faltered between horses. START TO WIN raced off of the pace tucking to the two path into the backstretch and tired. CONSOLATION PRIZE brushed with an inner rival at the start, chased from midpack along the inside and was done early.
