RANCHO SANTA FE tracked from the five to four path, advanced to bid three wide into the far turn, drew clear passing the quarter pole and held sway through the late stages. INSTANT IMPACT tracked along the inside early on, but got shuffled behind a rival into the backstretch, slipped through inside of that one to progress back into stalking position passing the five furlong pole, pursued with run into the far turn, but was shuffled back once more behind a tiring rival at the five sixteenths pole, moved two wide and between rivals at the quarter pole, re-rallied along the inside to gain place in the final sixteenth and closed in on the leader late. VAPORETTI trailed early on, shfited out to the four path and moved out of last entering the backstretch, progressed in the four path around the far turn, sustained his rally to gain place nearing the furlong grounds, but chased the clear leader thereafter and lost place to an inner foe late. MAXIMUS PRIME bobbled at the start, pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses, chased turning for home, got outkicked by a foe on either side leaving upper stretch and ran on evenly. WICKED GUN stalked four to three wide, bid two wide and along with an outer rival into the far turn, but proved no match for that one at the quarter pole and faded between horses. DEVILISH ACT vied for the lead with an outer rival while remaining off of the inside early on, backed off to stalk into the backstretch, but yielded position between horses leaving the five furlong pole and faded around the far turn. MCFASTY vied for the lead in the three path early on, led and crossed over to the inside into the backstretch, met a pair of outer challenges into the far turn and faded at the five sixteenths pole. OTZELBERGER broke a step slow, lacked speed two wide and between horses into teh backstretch then made little impact. BUCKLEY GOLD WATER broke a step slow and got outrun three wide. WADO showed little.
