HIGH GO raced behind the pace on the inside, split foes at the quarter to enter a duel with the FAST CONNECTION, dug in to put a nose in front in time. FAST CONNECTION tracked the early pace, moved up through the far turn to contest the lead, dueled with HIGH GO down the stretch but got nailed at the wire. SHAKIN MY HEAD settled off the pace, closed some ground in the far turn before tipping out five wide at the top of the stretch, held at bay by dueling leaders. STARMETAL unhurried at the start to race off the pace, took towards the outside of the stretch to improve position. OGILVY (IRE) settled to race off the pace, passed tiring foes in the stretch. MORAL MAN raced not too far off the pace, angled out five wide in the stretch, weakened in the final furlong. STRONG bobbled at the start, trailed for most, passed tired foes. CHASING GRAY pressed the early pace, took command after the first turn, relinquished the lead at the quarter, retreated. LEONARDO rushed to a ground saving lead, opted to press the pace after the first turn, looked to move back up in the far turn but was steadied at the quarter, retreated soon after. MOUNTAIN GRANDEUR raced off the pace, trailed in the far turn, eased across.
