BANDIDO DEAL applied heavy pressure to the early pace from the inside, claimed a narrow lead at the quarter, kicked clear in the final furlong. ROMEO SPIKES set a pressured pace from the two path, yielded the lead at the quarter, continued to pressed the pace in the upper stretch, could not keep up in the final furlong. ONE GRAND SLAM settled a few lengths back on the inside, made no bid. CLOSING AGENT sat just behind the pace three wide, weakened in the stretch. CUSTOM RIDE was off a step slow, trailed for most, no factor. BLESSEDUPONASTAR trailed shortly after the start, pulled up around the three eighths, escorted off in an equine ambulance.
