CALIBRATE was rated along the inside, split foes at the eighth to enter a duel with WRITE OFF JERRY, inched by in the final few strides. WRITE OFF JERRY trailed for the first half, began to make progress along the inside before tipping out five wide at the quarter, picked off rivals in the upper stretch to enter a duel with CALIBRATE in the final furlong for a gamely finish. SUMMER IN ADRIANE stalked the early pace, moved up to contest the pace in the upper stretch, claimed a brief lead before giving way to driving foes a the eighth. MR MCGREGOR tracked the pace three wide, made no bid. TAHOE RUN quickly set a pressured pace on the inside, relinquished the lead in the upper stretch and retreated. MANFREDI found position between rivals, trailed after the half, eased across.
