BIZZEE CHANNEL vied for the early lead, backed off through the first turn to track the pace up the backstretch, closed ground in the far turn to contest the pace in the upper stretch, took charge at the eighth and held firm. GOLDEN BANDIT vied for the early lead with BIZZEE CHANNEL, took sole command of an uncontested pace after the first turn, came under pressure once more by same foe in the upper stretch, grudgingly gave way at the eighth. DECCAN PRINCE (IRE) broke well to contend for the early pace between foes but opted to track the pace instead, began to close in four wide through the far turn to stalk the pace in the stretch, had no closing bid. HALF BROTHER was off slowly, found position around the middle of the pack, split foes at the three eighths and advanced along the inside of the far turn, entered the stretch a few lengths back but was unable to rally. GORILLA TREK settled off the pace, steadily advanced four wide up the backstretch, flattened out in the stretch. SENDERO settled off the pace, made minor improvements in the far turn and stretch. EVEN THE WIND raced off the pace, took towards the five path of the stretch, weakened. PUBLIUS trailed for most, passed tiring foes in the stretch. DUKE OF CARTHANIA raced off the pace, made no impact. LAMPLIGHTER JACK tracked the pace three deep on the inside, began retreating in the far turn, eased across.
