STEEL VENOM opted to track the pace three wide, slowly closed in the upper stretch to take charge at the eighth, kicked on through the finish. LICENSE TO STEAL was quick to set a pressured pace, grudgingly gave way at the eighth, just held for second place. CRECENCIO settled back to trail the pack, rallied five wide down the stretch for a competitive finish. LIL BRO COOP was rated along the inside, weakened in the stretch, failed to menace. DR. NIKO saved ground to pressure the early pace, faded to trail by the eighth.
