SHINING STAR (CHI) tracked the pace three wide, vied for command through the turn before claiming the sole lead at the top of the stretch, kicked clear to be much the best. CAIRO DREAM settled off the pace, tipped out five wide at the eighth and rallied to be the best of the rest. ALDORA raced not too far off the pace, made improvements six wide down the stretch to narrowly earn the show award. MOM'S PALACE pressed the early pace from the inside, backed off before the turn, angled out three wide in the upper stretch but came up empty. BISCUITWITHTHEBOSS was rated in the two path, angled out four wide in the stretch but began weakening at the eighth. LIUZZA trailed for most, passed retreating foe. FAST FLAME was bumped at the start, rushed to the early lead, gave way at the quarter and retreated.
