LOTSANDLOTSOFCANDY quickly set an uncontested pace, pulled away down the stretch, drifted out in the final furlong but was already much clear. BIG TROUBLE trailed shortly after the start, rallied along the outside for second place but was no match for the winner. SPORTING LADY tracked the pace three wide, unable to close in down the stretch. HARBOR SPRINGS trailed early, began progressing five wide through the turn, moved up between horses in the stretch but flattened out in the final furlong. BANTERRA was rated between horses in the middle of the pack, weakened down the stretch. PARTY PAULINE sat behind the pace in the early stages along the inside, retreated down the stretch.
