EL DINERO settled off the pace four wide, drove down the stretch to lock in battle with HAY JUDE in the final sixteenth, inched clear for the victory. HAY JUDE set a pressured pace from the inside, opened up a few in the upper stretch, was challenged to duel in the final sixteenth but grudgingly gave way for a gamely finish. SIR WELLINGTON trailed shortly after the start, took towards the outside of the stretch and closed willingly to be up for the show award. CARPIS pressed the early pace, backed off in the turn, took towards the inside at the eighth but was out-finished by foes. STRONG PROMISE raced in the middle of the pack between foes, failed to menace. BENOIT raced off the pace on the inside, closed some ground down the stretch to make minor improvements. SOUNDS LIKE POWER tracked the pace four wide, weakened down the stretch. BRON AND BROW tracked the pace from the inside, faded down the stretch.
