RAZOR CREST was unhurried at the start to be the early trailer, closed ground through the turn to enter the stretch in a competitive position, split foes three wide to take command inside the final furlong, held firmly through the finish. BIG NICKEL applied heavy pressure to the pace from the inside, claimed a narrow lead at the quarter grudgingly gave way inside the eighth. BLAME ME SERIOUSLY vied for the early lead between foes, backed off a couple lengths at the half, launched a five wide bid at the top of the stretch, drifted in at the three sixteenths to clip heels with DUVEE, continued on down the stretch. RUNNING RAGGED vied for the early lead on the inside, settled off the pace after the first furlong, closed ground in the upper stretch but weakened late. MR. RONNIE vied for the early lead between horses, claimed a narrow lead going into the turn, faded down the stretch. DUVEE stalked the pace four wide, clipped heels at the three sixteenths when BLAME ME SERIOUSLY drifted in, fell and lost rider, walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN A DISQUALIFICATION OF BLAME ME SERIOUSLY FROM THIRD TO FIFTH.
