BIG SALT LICK was rated nicely three wide, moved up through the turn to contest the pace in the upper stretch, took command at the three sixteenths and kicked clear. INDIAN CAT pressed the early pace, found a prominent position in the stretch but could not close in on the clear winner. COBBLESTONE BRIDGE was rated along the inside, tipped out five wide in the stretch to be up for the show award. JR'S GIFT bobbled at the start, trailed for most, made some improvements down the stretch. AMERICAN CITY quickly set a pressured pace from the inside, conceded the lead at the three sixteenths and faded. WAYLLEN RICHARD raced off the pace, trailed at the quarter, made no impact.
