MAKI MONARCHY was bumped at the start, saved ground in the first turn and continued close up behind the pace, took a slight hold at the half, moved up between foes at the quarter to duel for command, drifted out down the stretch, bumped into LUCKY MISCHIEF inside the sixteenth, just held to be the first across. LUCKY MISCHIEF raced not too far behind the pace, gained position four wide in the far turn to enter the stretch dueling for command, drifted out a couple paths in the stretch, bumped by MAKI MONARCHY inside the sixteenth, just missed. E LION found position around the middle of the pack, made progress along the inside of the far turn, angled out three wide in the stretch to show a rally that came up just short. BATTLE DRUM (FR) set a pressured pace from the inside, relinquished the lead after the first turn, reclaimed command after the half, gave way at the three sixteenths, weakened late for a shared fourth place finish. JACK RABBIT settled off the pace, gained position along the inside of the far turn, tipped out four wide in the stretch to close willingly for a share of fourth place. CONSECRATED settled off the pace, made improvements along the inside of the far turn and upper stretch, flattened out late. NO TAKE BACKS found position in the middle of the pack, made no bid. DATE THE PRINCE settled off the pace, moved up between rivals in the far turn, took towards the outside of the stretch to make improvements. CASH APP MIKE was bumped at the start, trailed for most, made minor improvements in the stretch. HIGH RANSOM tracked the early pace four wide, began a slow retreat in the far turn. HAMMER OF JUSTICE settled off the pace between rivals, failed to respond under riders urging in the far turn. HARD SCHOLAR pressed the early pace, took charge after the first turn, conceded the lead at the half, retreated down the stretch. STEWARDS INQUIRY AND JOCKEY'S OBJECTION BY LUCKY MISCHIEF ON MAKI MONARCHY REGARDING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RESULTED IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF MAKI MONARCHY FROM FIRST TO SECOND.
