CLASSIC TIME raced between rivals a couple lengths back, launched a six wide bid at the quarter to contest the pace, took charge at the eighth and drew off. DAPPER MOON sat behind the pace on the inside, split foes in the upper stretch to press the pace but was held at bay by the winner. CLEAR AS A BELE broke a step slow, quickly moved up through traffic to track the pace four wide, slowly advanced through the turn to enter the stretch in contention, gave way at the eighth, held for the show award. MAX GOT EXCITED settled off the pace, closed willingly in the stretch to be the most improved. CRAKEN JAX set a pressured pace from the inside, conceded the lead at the eighth and faded. MAJORITY OPINION pressed the early pace, retreated in the stretch. LOUISIANA JESS raced off the pace on the inside, took towards the outside of the stretch but could not rally. F T W SLAM raced off the pace, never involved. HOUSE BOURBON trailed shortly after the start, no factor.
