GREAT ESCAPE showed the way while off the rail up the backstretch, was cued along the inside midway around the far turn, kicked away down the lane to be much the best, and was wrapped up in the closing stages. YELLOW BRICK had a slow start, chased outside of foes in the four path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, and chased on to be second best. EYE DEE KAY rated between foes in the two path, was coaxed along the inside midway around the far turn, and kept on in the two path down the lane for show. TREBLE CLEF raced off the pace in the two path, came under a ride passing the three-eighths pole, angled out to the six path in upper stretch, but made no final bid. SIR EXTON stalked in the three path up the backstretch, was cued in the two path midway around the far turn, but faded from the four path down the lane. SPACE laid up close in the two path, was pushed along from just of the rail around the far turn, but yielded in the three path down the stretch. BEYOND BEST tracked inside but retreated. BOLT AT MIDNIGHT bobbled at the start, then trailed throughout.
