SWIFT BLADE stalked the pace from the two path, moved up to contest the pace in the upper stretch, edged clear in the final furlong. PREPPED was rated nicely along the inside, tipped out five wide at the top of the stretch, unable to rally until switching leads at the sixteenth for a late surge but it was too late. CITATUS broke slowly, trailed for most, began closing along the inside of the stretch until splitting foes at the eighth to get up for the show award. PRINCE OF LIGHT set a pressured pace from the inside, gave way at the three sixteenths and proceeded to weaken. ROAD TRIPPIN found position around the middle of the pack between horses, tipped out six wide but was blocked by foes until finding room at the eighth for a late rally. SWERVE tracked the pace three wide, made no bid, weakened down the stretch. MATCHING FUNDS raced off the pace, began closing along the inside of the upper stretch, faded in the final furlong. SWEET RETREAT raced off the pace, took towards the outside of the stretch, never threatened.
