MAXIMUM BOURBON broke in and bumped an inner foe, showed the way in the two path, rounded the turn while being pushed along from the rail, kicked away in upper stretch, and held sway. BENJI STAR stalked an inner duo from the four path, was cued from the three path midway around the turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, and ran on to be second best. LUCIUS VERUS bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off the pace in the three path, was roused from the two path midway around the turn, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch, and rallied outside of foes into the final furlong to get up for show. TO THE CHIEF tracked in the two path, came under a ride passing the three-eighths pole, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and improved while staying on the left lead. INVICTUS pressed the pace in the three path, was coaxed from the two path midway around the turn, but flattened in the three path down the lane. PROCTOR PHANTOM trailed inside, rounded the turn under a drive, swung from the four path into the stretch, and was gaining late but made no impact. GOOD MOJO raced up close along the inside, was pushed along the rail around the turn, but yielded down the lane. GOLDBRICK rated inside, was roused from the rail midway around the turn, but made no closing bid. IL CAVALLINO got bumped by an outer foe into an inner foe at the start, chased outside of rivals, was driven in the three path around the turn, but weakened.
