HALF WAY THERE quickly set the pace along the inside under little pressure from the competition, pulled away down the stretch for a very convincing gate to wire performance. MR. RONNIE was rated three wide around the middle of the pack, slowly advanced through the turn to find a competitive position at the top of the stretch. held at bay by the winner, clearly second best. TAP THE TEQUILA raced not too far behind the pace, backed off the pace through the turn, swung out six wide in the stretch to just get up for the show award. JOSAN settled off the pace on the inside, closed some ground in the upper stretch before tipping out four wide at the three sixteenths, finished well. CRIGLER trailed for most, passed retreating foes in the final furlong. GATSBY'S FORTUNE was bumped at the start, tracked the pace three wide, began a slow retreat in the turn. SHAWN'S SOLVING was bumped at the start, shadowed the pace in the early stages, retreated at the quarter.
