LADY IVA saved ground in the first turn, chased the pace up the backstretch and far turn, launched a three wide bid to take command by the three sixteenths, kept on task through the finish to hold off a late driving foe. EXCLUSIVE STAR bobbled slightly at the start, raced off the pace, gained position along the inside of the upper stretch, swung out five wide at the eighth to continue a drive that came up just short. ONTARIO settled off the pace four wide, steadily advanced to track the pace at the top of the stretch, was held at bay. MISS LONELLE broke alertly, showed good early speed, continued on until giving way at the three sixteenths. SEPTEMBER MAGIC tracked the pace from the two path, made no bid, showed signs of weakening late. MAMBO QUEEN trailed for most, made improvements along the outside of the stretch. COMPETITIVE THREAT (IRE) raced off the pace along the inside, looked to make improvements in the upper stretch but weakened soon after. GET BACK LORETTA steadied slightly before the first turn, raced off the pace in tight quarters, took towards the five path of the stretch but could not rally. MISKELLIEANNE found position around the middle of the pack, retreated and drifted out in the stretch.
