ROMEO SPIKES quickly set the pace from the inside, came under pressure in the far turn, continued down the stretch under heavy pressure, drifted out slightly to brush with I GOT THE HINT approaching the eighth, dug in late to secure the win. I GOT THE HINT shadowed the early pace, moved up to press the pace in the turn, continued to press down the stretch, brushed slightly by ROMEO SPIKES approaching the final furlong stretch, was held off by the winner. BAYOU TIME was bumped at the start, tracked the pace between foes in the early stages, unable to keep up with the top two down the stretch. DULCE LOREFICHE broke a bit outward, raced along the outside of the pack, improved position in the stretch. ANDYS PLAN B was bumped at the start, raced off the pace, passed tired foes along the inside of the stretch. MAGIC ON THE MIKE settled back to be the early trailer, passed tired foes in the stretch. SUCH A PICKLE was rated four wide, angled inside at the top of the stretch, weakened then on. AZTECA STORM tracked the pace four wide, backed off through the turn, trailed by the eighth, eased across.
