BETTE DAVIS tracked the early pace from the inside, moved up to split foes at the bottom of the far turn, dueled with FLOWERSFORSHANTELL in the upper stretch, drew clear in the final furlong. FLOWERSFORSHANTELL quickly set a pressured pace from the inside, was challenged to duel in the upper stretch, gave way to the winner in the final furlong. ROLL GYPSY ROLL settled back to trail the pack, trailed for most, rallied well along the outside of the stretch to earn the show award. SIMONA'S CHOICE pressed the early pace, made no bid, flattened out down the stretch. TALKSALOT settled off the pace, slowly made improvements throughout along the inside. LILY'S CREED settled off the pace three wide, never threatened. RUBY THE DESTROYER found position around the middle of the pack, backed off in the far turn, took towards the inside of the stretch but failed to respond. MIDNIGHT BLAZE tracked the pace three wide, entered the stretch five wide, retreated then on, eased across. FOREIGN TOURIST tracked the early pace four wide, retreated through the far turn to trail by the quarter.
