PENEI was bumped at the start, trailed for most, cued along the outside of the far turn, took command at the three sixteenths before settling in to the four path, ducked out a couple paths briefly approaching the sixteenths but was quickly corrected, dug in to secure the victory. NO REMATCH was unhurried at the start to settle in an off pace position, began to make progress four wide in the far turn, rallied seven wide down the stretch but just missed. SHARP STRIKE was allowed to settle off the pace, split foes a the quarter before claiming the inside of the stretch, rallied along the inside under left handed urging to earn earn the show award. PYROMANIA raced off the pace three wide, began closing in the far turn to enter the stretch just behind the pace, tipped out six wide but was unable to rally, passed tiring rivals for an improved position. BYWORD settled off the pace, moved into the middle of the pack going up the backstretch, split foes in the far turn to find a prominent position in the stretch, split foes once more in the upper stretch to press the pace but faltered in the final stage. OLIVERIO was bumped at the start, tracked the early pace three wide, cued up to contest the lead in the far turn, led briefly in the upper stretch before giving way to the winner at the three sixteenths, faded in the final sixteenth. WESTEROS pressed the early pace under a tight hold from the rider, took charge at the three quarters, continued on until finally coming under a loose rein at the three eighths, had no more to give in the stretch and stopped. RODAVLAS set a pressured pace under a tight rein from the inside, conceded the lead at the three quarters, chased the pace going up the backstretch until beginning a slow retreat in the far turn to trail the rest of the way.
