BANDIDO DEAL was a bit fractious in the gate, stalked the early pace three wide moved up to contest the lead through the turn, took charge at the quarter, kept to task through the stretch for a firm finish. MISTER BANDERAS brushed slightly with inside foe at the start, found position in the middle of the pack between rivals, moved up through the turn to enter the stretch just behind the pace but was boxed in from all sides, found space to start driving in the final furlong but it was too late and was held at bay by the winner. HESPER settled off the pace three wide, tipped out five wide at the quarter to show a mild rally down the stretch for a respectable finish. CLASSICAL KNIGHT tracked the early pace four wide, closed some ground in the turn to sit prominently in the upper stretch but had no closing bid and weakened through the final furlong. MUNNINGS CATSLE opted to be the early trailer, passed tiring foes along the outside of the stretch. AMPITUP brushed slightly with outside foe at the start, found tight quarters along the inside, backed off through the turn to enter the stretch off the pace, found best stride late to pass tired foe. THE WICKED CAT quickly set a pressured pace between rivals, claimed the inside of the turn while vying for command with BANDIDO DEAL, conceded the lead at the quarter, retreated down the stretch.
