FLYING MOHAWK was bumped at the start, trailed through the first turn, steadily advanced along the inside, split foes in the far turn before making a seven wide bid at the top of the stretch to surge past the competition, just held off late driving foe. ORIZZONTE broke a step slow, raced off the pace, trailed after the first turn, took towards the far outside of the stretch to show an impressive drive that just missed. PINELAND broke slightly inward to bump foe at the start, chased the early pace from the inside, launched a four wide bid at the quarter and brushed FOLIGNO in doing so, led very briefly before giving way to the winner at the eighth. FOLIGNO tracked the pace between foes, brushed out by PINELAND at the quarter, continued five wide down the stretch but had no closing bid. CULTIVATE found position around the middle of the pack, closed some ground on the inside of the upper stretch before tipping out five wide at the eighth but could not continue the rally. THE PROCESS saved ground to apply pressure to the early pace three wide, vied for command through the far turn before taking charge at the quarter, gave way approaching the eighth and retreated then on. BRODEUR set a pressured pace from the inside, vied for the lead with THE PROCESS in the far turn before giving way at the quarter, faded down the stretch. MASTEROFFOXHOUNDS raced off the pace, never threatened. FUNNYFLAME moved up to track the pace four wide, faltered on the second turn and retreated. WARHEART found position around the middle of the pack, came up empty on the far turn and dropped out.
