CONTEMPLATION settled off the pace along the inside, waited patiently until launching a six wide bid at the top of the stretch, picked off remaining rivals under left handed encouragement and was able to get the bob. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE found position around the middle of the pack, loomed along the inside of the far turn to enter the stretch behind the pace, bid on the inside path as it opened up at the eighth but got nailed by outside foe at the finish. ENLIGHTEN tracked the early pace in the three path, tipped out five wide in the upper stretch to begin closing, switched sticks at the eighth to put immense pressure on the leader but got out-finished. BOLD DISCOVERY broke a step slow, trailed for the first half, made steady improvements along the inside until entering the final furlong right behind the pace but had no room to make any moves. BEBEDOURO showed good early speed, continued uncontestedly until coming under pressure in the far turn, ducked out a couple paths at the three sixteenths in response to left handed encouragement, switched back to right handed urging for the final furlong but had no more to give. HARD TO FATHOM was pinched back at the start, raced off the pace, trailed after half, passed tiring foes in the stretch. SKIPPER'S PRIDE raced off the pace three wide, trailed at the eighth, passed retreating foe. BALTIMORE HEART tracked the early speed from the inside, closed in to stalk the pace three wide in the far turn, failed to respond to any urging in the stretch and retreated.
