SPINNING GLORY stalked the early pace three wide, slowly advanced through the turn to claim a narrow lead by the top of the stretch, held a narrow lead in the upper stretch under left handed urging until switching sticks and leads at the eighth to kick clear of the rest. TURF ROCKET was rated along the inside, advanced along the inside of the turn before angling out four wide at the five sixteenths, picked off a couple more rivals in the upper stretch but was held at bay by the winner. ANNIE'S JOY settled off the pace, tipped out five wide at the quarter but found best stride late to be up for the show award. HITTIN MY STRIDE found position around the middle of the pack between rivals, dropped back to trail in the turn, showed a mild rally along the inside of the stretch, tipped out three wide for the final sixteenth to finish well. RAMBERT showed good early speed, came under heavy pressure in the turn to ultimately give way to SPINNING GLORY at the quarter, weakened down the stretch. CLASSIC PERFORMER tracked the early pace from the inside, closed some ground in the turn to enter the stretch just behind the pace, faded in the final furlong. START SINGING was rated four wide, drifted towards the far outside of the stretch, passed tiring foe. SHORTY MAC found position around the middle of the pack, backed off the pace in the turn, failed to respond to urging in the stretch. CALL'EM ALL opted to be the early trailer, passed rival in the far turn, trailed again at the quarter, never threatened.
