CUSTOM RIDE settled off the pace, gained along the inside of the turn before taking to the far outside at the quarter, drove past the competition under left handed urging, took the lead at the sixteenth and switched leads soon after to hold firm. OCEAN VOYAGER broke alertly, opted to press the pace from the two path soon after, moved up to vie for command in the turn, led briefly at the eighth before giving way to the winner. JAYJAYJAY brushed SULTAN'S PRIDE shortly after the start, raced off the pace along the inside, closed in through the far turn enter the stretch just behind the pace, entered the stretch in the three path before immediately launching an inside bid that was shut off by SULTAN'S PRIDE at the three sixteenths, tipped out four wide for the final furlong and got up for the show award. CLOSING AGENT tracked the pace three wide, never switched leads, could not improve. LOUISIANA STAR was bumped at the start, trailed in the early stages, made minor improvements along the outside of the stretch. SULTAN'S PRIDE was brushed by JAYJAYJAY shortly after the start, rushed up to take charge soon after, vied for command with OCEAN VOYAGER in the turn, lost some ground rounding the turn, angled back towards the inside in the upper stretch to shut off JAYJAYJAY, weakened in the final furlong. GALLABYE tracked the pace four wide, backed off through the turn, showed little in the stretch. RUNNER RUNNER was bumped at the start, raced off the pace, made no impact.
