BOLT FROM ABOVE was unhurried at the start to race off the pace along the inside, took a slight hold at the three quarters and trailed soon after, took towards the outside at the top of the stretch to show an impressive drive for a well earned win. WESTERN RUN in tight quarters after the first turn, took a slight hold at the three quarters, continued on between foes, rubbed shoulders with IL CAVALLINO in the upper stretch, split foes to claim a brief lead but got nailed. MAKI MONARCHY was bumped between foes and steadied at the start, steadily advanced five wide, to press the pace after half, took command midway through the turn, opened up a couple lengths in the upper stretch before grudgingly giving way to driving foes on both sides at the final sixteenth. DATE THE PRINCE settled off the pace, hugged the rail through the far turn to find a path in the stretch to close willingly. ARTHUR'S COURT tracked the early pace, moved up to press the pace three wide between foes at the half, backed off before the far turn to track once again, angled out five wide in the stretch but could not close. BATTLE DRUM (FR) tracked the pace from the inside, split foes three wide in the upper stretch to press the pace but weakened in the final furlong. IL CAVALLINO found position around the middle of the pack, angled out five wide in the stretch and rubbed shoulders with WESTER RUN briefly, unable to rally. JACK RABBIT trailed through the first turn, advanced along the outside up the backstretch to track the pace, retreated in the stretch. HIGH RANSOM applied heavy pressure to the early pace, began to retreat at the quarter. PUBLICITY set a pressured pace from the inside, conceded the lead halfway through the far turn, faded fast down the stretch.
